If you look at all 15 pictures he has of that specific handle, they all have horizontal circular lines in the two "small centimeters"
sections. So those two small sections by default most likely already come with those lines.
So the design choice(s) that you make are most likely for the two "large" sections of the handles.
When I ordered my Vestige, I didn't like the Vestige handle so he made me a custom fit "regular" handle.
The pattern I chose for the top & bottom was the Cross pattern and I did it all through the normal order form that
your looking at. He knew through our email that I wanted the custom fit handle but the actual order & pattern selection
was still done through the website order form (where I selected Cross for the low pattern & high pattern).
But if you still have doubts though, I'd email him!
