3rd shave of the March GRUME...
Pre-Shave: Hot Shower with Stirling's Deep Blue Sea Bar Soap.
Razor&Blade: 1959 Gillette Fatboy loaded with ASCO Blade(2) a decent shave but i still feel a little fur on my face/neck.
Lather Gear: Yaqi 24mm Synthetic Mountain Lake whipped up Mark's Sauvage IV in Captain's Choice Copper Aquamarine Bowl. Seconds to get a great lather.
Aftershave Gear: Omega Alum Stick and Stirling's Deep Blue Sea Aftershave Balm, almost empty Nivea is hanging out waiting to be put i for a few shaves.
Gear gets a 9/10

Post-shave: N/A
Result: DFS in 2 passes + a redo under my left jawline, no irritation
Autopilot shave... which is probably why I had to relather my jawline and try again. Anyway, I'm ready to try something new today.

Today was my first shave with the new NEW that knocked me out of the Feb GRUME. Popped in a new Elios blade because I’ve been using them the most recently. Still using my $2 Yaqi synthetic and leftover 2in1 cream in a tube.
Fantastic shave experience, and fantastic results. I think better ATG than my Old Type head. Otherwise it behaved very similarly to the OT. Face felt great all afternoon.

Razor: GC1.05 SB, Al Handle, Astra SP #11
Bowl: Turkish copper
Post-shave: Nivea Balm
I used Opuntia for SV Saturday. Got a comfortable near-BBS face shave. The neck shave was less than ideal, so it's time for a new blade.
I'm not actively trying to get long blade life, but green Astras seem to be good for 10 shaves in the Game Changer.
