#63 is out. I bought a Karve Bison to replace my Overlander that is not being used right now for deeply personal reasons.

I had a good run in the sabbatical and have no regrets. I wish continued success to those of you still in. Thank you Guido @Guido75 for your leadership as the captain of this unpredictable journey, and Stan @KQY61 for your unwavering support as the reluctant first officer; your hard work is appreciated. And kudos to all contributing participants who continue to provide positive feedback and support.

Getting close to the bottom of the JB.

Back from another trip where I used the Gillette Fusion Proglide and Pacific Natural cream. If I’m completely honest I get closer shaves with the Proglide. No irritation either.

The razor was on my wish list to acquire in January, but it was available in excellent condition in the exact configuration I wanted and at a very reasonable price that is unlikely to be matched any time soon. As a bonus, it was in my mailbox four business days later.

I hope to get to a place where I can use the Overlander again, but until then...

Yes. I have the Karve CB in brass with the B and C plates (OC and SB), and the SB D plate. I really like the CB, but I've found that I much prefer the Bison for head shaves. It's obviously lighter being aluminum, and the covered blade tabs help keep my ears intact. I can whip it around my dome with the comfort of a cartridge razor, but with the efficiency of a DE.

Well that's my thing, I will need just like for the last 2 year to restock namely in As and at this point I am not interested in locking up so I then restrain from buying as I already restrain from buying anyway.
