What's new

Maybe I'll learn something.

My counter gets wet regardless. By the time I'm done shaving, it's a mess!
But I have a cleaning routine after each shave that also includes my counter & sink.
With the flairisol my face gets wet where I want and my counter stays dry. My sink is easy to rinse off. Very tidy. The mister works just as well as a shower before my shave. Splashing around doesn’t really work as well. Different strokes and all.

Pre shave, cream, after shave, and, balm: Proraso Red
Liberal use of a misting spray bottle
Brush: RV Shaving 25 MM STF in Strawberry Amber
Bowl: Captain's choice copper
Razor: Wolfman WR2 1.25 SB / @Rosseforp GTB 19.2 gram GTB handle
Blade: Personnna Comfort Coated (14)

9.8 DFS on the neck and BBS- on the cheeks and upper lip.

So my Flairisol mister got gummed up and I figured rather than fool with it I would order a new one. When I logged in I saw many misters that were a little cheaper and shaped the same and I figured they would function the same. Almost not quite. I will be getting a new brand name one on the first. This was a good shave. Best Proraso cream lather I have had this year. Rather than working it on my face after the bowl I just worked the bejeebus out of it in the bowl and got super lather. I will be following this set of steps going forward with all creams and maybe some soaps.
Looking good, my friend.

I am a very happy with an actual flairisol mister bottle. Splashing around just makes my counter wet.
That's part of the fun! Soap on the ceiling, water on the mirror, counter and floor, the smell of way too much cologne wafting through the house. Gardenia essential oil spilled and left on the cutting board ruining the broccoli last night (yep, that happened).

My wife must really love me...

So I finally figured out why I couldn’t start a Facebook to make it easier for me to be found. My phone number is linked to a woman in Florida. I have control of it on my phone now, but, can’t log in anywhere else. I will keep trying to link it to my email until it works.

In related news a friend found my daughter’s mother online from an organization she is affiliated with. No contact information. It is a start though.

At the same time my brother has a point that while it is okay to make it easier for me to be found, it may not be okay for a deadbeat dad to show up 18 years later out of the blue and upset things. It has been 10 years since I was told I wasn’t needed, she is happy, and, gave me a handful of photos when I got in contact. More than anything I want to know that she is okay. She was seriously disabled at birth.

Good luck. That sounds like a difficult situation.

Late night shave after a late night shower. I have an early doctors appointment in the morning. I have decided to get a much needed haircut as well. I’m going to go with a Joe Strummer style Mohawk. Less work than a pompadour.

So the long shaggy hair that has made me uncomfortable and clogged my shower and hair brush is no more. I took pictures of Joe Strummer in and got a Mohawk. I haven’t had one of these since I was 15.
