Hmm was going to show some autumn red - the colour of blood from the top of my little finger after it got a little too close to the Puma. About 1/2 inch long gash 1 mm deep as I held the razor in one hand and straightened my side-burn with the other - right into the blade - Doh! Showed up at the doc at 8:15 am hoping for a stitch, and he already had a room full, so showed the finger to the receptionist and said, "cut myself shaving - with a straight razor". Just then the doc shows up on crutches . . . leans over, takes a quick look and decides a band-aid will do - gives me one and says - "no worries" (in a South African accent). Really don't think he appreciates the time and effort to get the straight laser sharp so it cuts effortlessly (beards) and such a clean cut won't really heal properly without a stitch. Then the elderly receptionist comments . . . "that must have hurt", answer: "no not at all" (as it is with sharp blades) then she smiles and says "you probably had a nice shave anyway".

. . . if you look - will notice the ghostly image of fingers in the blade reflection . . .
