OCtober 4th. Shave 4/Day 4

Old Type, thick cap

I've used my Gillette New SC for all of my face shaves this month as well as a head shave on October 2 - that is a total of 3 shaves. I will be using it every day for the rest of the month.

Again a shave with the Parker 24c and the Voskhod blade.

Shave was slightly rushed so I may have jumped the gun retiring the blade since hurrying may have made me slightly sloppy in technique. When rushed I find the added slickness of cremo can help my face tolerate slight sloppiness...

The Monday mailman has at least one shaving treat for me so I will be mixing things up next week...

OCtober 4, #4 -- my Franken-ABC Razor. The handle is a nice shell design (my favorite, understated elegance) but the head has a 1917 manufacture date. The bullets look to be more like regular Old Type-size than ABC, so I think someone in the last 110 years or so did a head swap. It's still a nice shaver and easy on the eyes.

Vostok soap, my B&B Essential Boar, and Krampert's Finest Frostbite again. Nice shave, close, no weepers.

Sorry I didn't specify that my first shave with the Red and Black was a Long Comb, not SC.

Short Comb New with the thin bar handle.

It's hard for me to tell the difference between a long and short comb NEW.
Nice mild close shave.

Hi,

Whoa! You have almost caught my Personna 74 with 30 two-pass shaves on it!

I had used that during One Blade February this year. I ran it in the Fasan, then ran out of Month before I ran out of blade. So, I tacked two extra days onto it to round it off, and wrapped it back up to continue next February.
