Made a Brush and Razor stand today.

I'm pretty happy with it.
Have a 2nd one 1/2 way finished as well.

Oak and a nice brown Poplar I found.
Finished with a nice oil with a slight bit of tint to bring out the grain.

Glued up a couple blocks of oak and poplar.
Drilled out holes as needed. Band saw for the big curves. Coping saw for the internal cut outs.
File and sand and sand and sand.

Is that a Maggard head on the MR5? I recently acquired a MR5 with a Maggard open comb and it's no where near that robust.

Love my MR5 and Maggard was a complete joy to do business with. (A brush I ordered has a small crack in the handle. Almost instant response to my email, and they took care of it.)

You may want to have Maggard send you just the v2 head.
If you are like me it will give you an excuse to order more stuff!

All you have to do is offer enough money to make it worth my while for 8 hours of my precious free time and get my wife to let me put off the honey do list.
