What constitutes a "Wet Noodle"

Like the title says, what constitutes a "Wet Noodle" nib?

I have always wondered about this.

I see lots of sales for "Wet Noodles" but I have never seen a nib labeled as such...Do you just know it when you use it?

Is some degree of line variation the key? Or does it have to do with a nibs ability to go from fine to broad and then back to fine again in a quick manner? Or is it something else completely?

A super flexible nib.

Yes, a nib that doesn't require much pressure at all to flex. It's often overused on certain sites, since one man's semi-flex is another's wet noodle.

A hard to quantify measurement, especially by folks that haven't used a wide variety of nibs.
