More "El . . . wood" (and Jake) or "Delbert."

I would have thought this one was more like "Train Kept A Rollin'" than it is--that is: going way back; performed by scores of people; originating in some jump blues form performed by an obscure African American jazz player, then rockabilly, psychedelia, heavy metal, hard rock. But to my surprise, as far as I can tell, for well-known performers doing the song, it is pretty much Jake and Elwood on one hand, and the songwriter, Delbert, on the other.

I would love to hear an Elvis version!
