Dagnabbit!

What the hell. Just got a vintage razor today. Open the package lather up, get a nice shave, start cleaning the razor and drop the end cap and put a huge dent in it. Damn it. Razor lasts 60 years in great shape and one shave with me and it has a huge dent. I wish I could say this was the first time but I'm always dropping something and damaging my razors. This is like the 4th damn razor I've damaged.
 
If you've got slippery fingers (like I do!), invest in an alum block. Rub that on your fingers before you pick it up, and it'll give you much better grip. I do so several times during my shave to keep my fingers grippy.

And ... I think you dropped the top cap, not the end cap ... :tongue_sm
