We usually spend around 5 days a week at work, so why not this week, include our workplace in the SOTD pics? This could be quite simply, items we use day to day, or our working environment as a background. Obviously please take in to account any safety aspects this could/might involve.

Good morning.

My Monday shave today:

Martin de Candre “Savon Vetyver’ face wash
Musgo Real pre-shave oil
Calani Cadre Noir shave soap
Mühle Basic Nr. 02 shave brush with Silver Tip Fibre
Merkur 12C pen comb
BIC Chrome Platinum blade (new)
Bloc Osma Alum
D.R. Harris Bay Rum after shave

After having been using predominantly Feather blades for the past year and longer, I did notice the difference of the BIC, which I used to like a lot. I still think it is a good blade but, whereas the Feather would go, with the same prep, through my 3-day beard like a hot knife through butter, the BIC was a little bit ‘rougher’. Still moved down the stubble very well though, no complaints.
I wish all of you an outstanding week ahead and many enjoyable shaves.

I really wasn't feeling the love for MWF. I am big on smells and easy lathering and MWF isn't strong in either. Well, I gave it another go this morning. Since I primarily face/hand lather now, putting it in the hand definately helps gauge it better. It took about ninety seconds, but it produced a solid and stable lather. The Lanolin smell came out stronger after working it up and was actually very pleasant. I ended up with pretty darn good shave. It might take a few more shaves, but maybe it will become a staple in the rotation.
