What's new

What's your workout today?

I'm still deloading prior to competition this Saturday...

Competing in 275lbs weight class, weight this morning was 270, so I can eat up tot he competition, that's nice.

I'll post on Sunday (when I'm resting and recovering) the results.

My Movember mustache will also be a hit, I'm sure. hehe

Will do, yeah! A friend asked, "Do they have a moustached division? That isn't fair for the rest of the competitors!"

I told him, "I'll probably just add a zero to the end of all my attempts?"

Squat 4050
Bench 3050
DL 5500

Something like that, haha:laugh::thumbup1:

Skip 'em if the only thing you have is a smith machine. Your gym doesn't have any barbells?! Find a new gym, would be my first suggestion (if they don't have any actual bars and weights). If that's not an option then you'll have to improvise.

My gym is at work and therefore free, but unfortunately that means I have no control over what equipment is in it. We have OH&S experts who know nothing about weight training to tell us what we need!

In recovery from a deadlifting injury so.....a lot of light stretching/light ab work/30 minutes on the stationary bike.

Not the most intense workout I can think of....but i'm thankful that I can even do that. :thumbup1:

I don't train with guys that big but but the trainers at the gym are powerlifters. She holds the Canadian deadlift record for her class and if things go as planned should take bench, squat and deadlift at the nationals. They're off to PEI I believe next weekend with a team from the gym.
