Does anyone else feel that boar brushes work best with soft soaps? I always get better results with them than hard soaps, but alas I rarely use my SOS so its most likely at least partially technique.

I only use boar at the moment, but my Semogues do well with either soft or puck/stick (face lathering). My Omega 10006 is better with hard soaps.

First time with a WD. Larry sent this out quickly. The 22" Silvertip is a glorious piece of kit. I used all of my normal gear and soap, the only difference being the Whipped Dog. A great add to my collection. Soft as a baby's *** and lots of backbone. Definitely the best value per dollar out there.
