What would be the slickest soap ever, the one so slippery that your razor slides under the sink, you just can't hold the brush if some soap gets on the handle?
This. As with all things wet shaving, YMMV (or maybe your perception of the mileage may vary). No one can tell you what the “slickest soap ever” is.
False. It’s Tabac. No one can tell you what the “slickest soap ever” is.
All soaps when properly worked will indeed reach that desired slickness we crave. I use shea butter pre shave. Your greased skin then gets a slick soap coating. Now you got a fast slick lather accelerating a very sharp blade. What would be the slickest soap ever, the one so slippery that your razor slides under the sink, you just can't hold the brush if some soap gets on the handle?
I never had the chance to try Vitos. Sadly. Someone else on here said if you have tried one, you have tried them both. So there is that comfort!Vitos green was slick and had good cushion. Slickest ever? I dont know. I havnet seen any around for awhile. There is/was? a red version too but l never tried it.
I had bought a brick of Vito’s Red. I used it exclusively for a year. I found it to be an excellent entry level or bottom tier soap.I never had the chance to try Vitos. Sadly. Someone else on here said if you have tried one, you have tried them both. So there is that comfort!
With the creams and grease that I use pre shave my hands still feel slippery after a soap washing. The alum is liberally applied to my wet hands before reaching for brush or razor.I am not sure about ever, but I will agree Cella is slick. Of all my soaps, it is probably the hardest to wash off the hands and razor handle.
Cheers for Tabac!False. It’s Tabac.
