Yep, he's a bit miscast.
Watched a couple of episodes from Season 1 (1980) of Magnum P.I. I liked them well enough to plan to buy the DVD or Blu-ray set in the future.
I've been watching the Outer Limits from back in the 1960's. All the episodes are free on Youtube right now.
I've been working on trying to watch the Across The Pond copies of TV series, with some success so far.
Listed here is the US copy of UK TV series, and UK versions of US series.
There are more US versions of UK series than the other way round.
I have and have watched at least some of the titles listed in Bold.

I saw a few of these. I was surprised at how many of the first episodes were virtually identical script-wise. For whatever reason, I liked the US version better.
John Ritter had charisma. It's fun to watch him.
He was amazing in Sling Blade.

I did not know there is now also a TV series out. The movie was super and I have seen it many times.
I could see a movie on the subject, but an entire TV series about footwear?

One of the things that I liked about Babylon 5
was that they didn't do artificial gravity fields.
They had to keep that thing spinning.
I like how they also had to deal with the difference in gravity as they went towards the center.
Not a series, but the Netflix Tom Brady Roast.
Seems truly awful. I am not a big fan of the genre in general, although true masters like Norm MacDonald could pull it off. But Kevin Hart seems unfunny to me nearly always, and this show seems more mean than anything.
