What razor is this?

I briefly bid on on this razor on eBay, but when it went over £10 my interest faded somewhat. However, I would like to ask, does anyone know what razor this is? Reminds me a little of a Merkur classic, but I have never seen a gillette like this.

Looks like a typical English NEW.

That is a Gillette made in England NEW. They are very nice shavers however it is nestled in a contemporary case meant for a Gillette President I believe. Great razor usually came in a Bakelite Box... big price for one though in this case ( no pun intended) however maybe somebody liked the razor and needed the case for a proper match.

I like the way it looks, but for over £20 I could get something nicer.
