What is the bristles to this brush

I bought this a while ago, it’s a Hess #4 barber brush (made by double duck for Hess). I have quite a few brushes but this one for some strange reason gets the lather just right for a straight razor shave. The lather isn’t too thick, has the right amount of water, and super slick for a super close and comfortable 3 pass shave. I’d like to know what are the bristles made for it, it’s not badger, but feels like a super fine hair boar brush it’s way softer then badger. I absolutely love this bush and what it does.
