What's new

Two W&B restores.

The shorty is a razor I picked up off the bay. The scales were hacked down rubber and did not do the blade justice. I made these scales out of ancient kuari with a Gabon ebony wedge, and finished it with shellac. This is a great shaver and one of my favorite blades.

The chopper is a blade a friend picked up for me at a Revolutionary War reenactment. It has had some regrind work as can be seen. The original horn scales were in very bad shape. However, I was able to reuse the washers. The scales are Gabon ebony and the wedge is made out of bone, and I finished it with teak oil. This one still needs to be honed up, and I can't wait to give myself a nice shave with it.

I apologize for my crappy iPhone4 pics, but my digital camera takes even worse pics.
