It’s been a few years but I’m back. I fell down the wrist watch rabbit hole and learned how to repair and service watches but I had to return to this community.
My intention was then as is now, to bring some old razors back to life. This Thomas turner & co was picked up for nothing on flee bay and the scales were destroyed. It was full of rust as well. Made a new set of scales using some Tasmanian oak, staining it with Japan black and using epoxy to seal and shine.
De-rusted the blade and got it back to a reasonable condition considering. Some putting but no more rust.
The bevel needs to be reset and honed. Waiting on a couple of stones so I can finish.
