Derby and Merkur for me. I've had good runs with Shark in comparison.
I tried a Derby blade that I absolutely hated before trying the Flying Eagle and felt like I owed it an apology, like I should send it a fruit basket or something.
I see all of you bashing Treet, Dorko, Shark, Bic, Derby, etc. You guys have no idea how good you have it.
I would urge all of you to try the Flying Eagle Chinese blade. It'll give you an entirely new perspective on blades and just how bad one can get.
I would gladly take absolutely any blade over this one, in fact I'd reach into my used blade bank and take out one that has reached it's life expectancy then do my best to sharpen it on the concrete driveway outside of my house and it would still be 100 times better than the Flying Eagle. I'd go back to carts before using this blade again.
This Chinese blade was so bad that I couldn't make it all the way through the first pass before having to switch out the blade to cut all of the remaining stubble that the Flying Eagle didn't manage to pull out. It's just sharp enough to dig into the hair and get a really, really good grip on it but not sharp enough to actually cut through it, so it just pulls out the hairs root and all.

I've tried a couple different Flying Eagle blades just in case I got a bad one but they are all the same. I've also given some of what I had left to others to try and they had the exact same experience. It really is that bad.
