Soluble oil is well known in (metal) machining. It has the consistency of motor oil and is thinned down by dilution with water, usually at a ratio of about 5 oil to 95 water.@rbscebu What the heck is soluble oil? You mean that oil and water do mix, sometimes?
100ml of soluble oil is good enough for about 2 litres of honing fluid. It is difficult to purchase in less than about 5 litre containers so it is better if you have a machinist friend who can give you a millilitres.
