Attempting to find a good whisky, but leaning on scotch.

My girlfriend is doing the same, but for vodka, so were just doing a lot of sampling.

I'd suggest bumping up a few bucks on the bourbon to jim beam black rather than the white label. Significantly higher quality for not much more money.
