Someone had asked about this shaving cream and I grabbed a tube early this morning in the supermarket to test out. It is a great performer and has a pleasant lavender scent. Brush Chronicles continue......

Results: Yesterday, I received a brand new HandAmerican strop from Jim at "The Imperial Shave". The Pegasus III is truly luxury at its best. It has a regular Horse and a Cordovan horsehide with whopping dimensions of 3" x 30" and soft as heck. I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of this strop and thoroughly enjoyed my experiences dealing with Jim. I took out another Maxterpiece today (surprise

), i.e., the Helje #32. I gave her 30 lashes on the Neil Miller linen, 45 on the horsehide and 65 on the cordovan. I was honestly scared of that edge and for a second, I was seriously having second thoughts about shaving with her. But she delivered a smooth as butter shave. I love this blade (then again, what else is new

?). I am ready for what's sure to be a busy Saturday with family

. The nephews are out this weekend racing with their dad.
