Absolutely beautiful Boker, Mark! I love the scales...

Valet Auto-Strop
Modified Gem blade (did not strop)
KMF Cool Mint
Penworks Silvertip

The razor I used today is the one closer to the center of the photo. I'd had a couple of rough shaves with the cutout style Valet on the left, despite using a modern stainless Feather cutout blade. There's a chance I spoiled that blade myself, but I wanted to check my Valet technique by using a blade I knew was good. DFS, although I did get a little nick.

Semogue 1305

TOBS Traditional Luxury Shaving Soap
Nivea for Men Replenishing After Shave Balm

I was surprised when I received the Semogue 1305, it is bigger than I thought.
First impression is very good, and I am pleasantly surprised by the softness of the tips from the start - resembles Omega on that point.

The razor could do with a touch up, so it got a ride on the Coticule last night; and today - smooooth :biggrin1:

I hope you Gentlemen also have had or will have a great start to the week :001_smile

Monday morning,

Merkur 33C Classic w/ Crystal Blade,
Simpson Duke 3 Best Badger Brush,
Cella Cream Soap w/ hot water lather,
Cold water rinse, finish w/ TN Dickinsons
Witch Hazel. DFS!

Pre-Shave: Hot shower
Brush: 26mm Simpson "Chubby #2", 3-band Super Badger
Razor: 7/8" Solingen Stainless, 1/4 Hollow, Round Point
Strop: 60/75 (Torolf linen/Premium IV leather)
Überlather: Acca Kappa "1869" Shave Creme + Acca Kappa "1869" Shave Soap + Glycerin
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol)
Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer
After Shave Splash: Floïd Italian Blue
Cologne: Acca Kappa "1869" EdC
Results: An excellent shave for this beautiful Monday morning. The Solingnen Stainless delivered a lovely and smooth shave. It took a few tries, but I believe that I have finally dialed-in the honing regimen for this blade (from last time...no touch up needed, just stropping). She still kept her wonderfully sharp edge from last time I honed her. And the Acca Kappa SC/SS combo provided my skin with the wonderfully thick and moist lather that I have come to expect from my cremes/soaps. A spectacular and irritation free shave
