Handicapper's Odds?
Four days into a ten-week recovery period for a ruptured extensor tendon on the ring finger of my dominant right hand.
The treatment? A splint for 24 hours a day for the next two months.
The rules are: if I bend that joint even a little ... even only once ... before the ten weeks have elapsed, the clock resets to zero.
Is shaving a challenge? A little bit.
So the question of odds here is not about whether I am going to be a 100% compliant patient, but rather will the demands of compliance lead me to regrow my Santa Claus beard?
Today's shave was my first since Monday.

In the larger scheme of trials and tribulations we all face, this one is but a mere incovenience.
And, a splint is sure better than surgery and pins, etc.
