Excellent maiden voyage with the huge Revisor. Honed to perfection from the factory, the Hess linen strop smoothed it out, finished on TM Latigo and this thing was buttery smooth. It's been a while since I've used soft German steel, and I definitely missed it.

Please tell me about the soap? Looks interesting.

My wife ordered it for me from a soapmaker in Seattle, seattlesundries.com. Scent is very woodsy, extremely slick lather but irritated my skin a little bit. Not sure if it was the soap or if my blade is getting a little old (3rd shave on a Schick injector blade). I'll try it again with a new blade and see what happens.

I highly recommend it. Great shaving cream. And scentwise, of all the creams I use, J. Peterman is by far my wife's favorite.

First post in about a week because I've been out of state, shaving with a Bic disposable. *shudder*

Here is today's shave:

Long story short, I picked up this Boker from Mercury895 shortly after he bought it:
Boker King Cutter w/Rambuttan scales

It is INCREDIBLE, an amazing restoration and rescaling done by lax1mxr. This razor shaves like a dream, and is beautiful in the hand. I'm so happy!

There it is. Damn. It certainly is nice-looking isn't it? Sigh . I am glad that it went to a good home .
