Fabulous shave today, David. :001_smile I love La Toja soap and always follow up with Floid Mentolado Suave. I like that "all Spanish" feeling... Regarding the Shavemac 177 Silvertip, that's simply a great brush. :thumbup1:

Thank you, Marco. I love La Toja too. For a veggie soap, it's simply outstanding! :thumbup1:

Awesome shaves and photos today, gents. I am reminded that I really need to buy a bottle of Floid. And my photographic abilities are pale in comparison to some of you all. Thanks for the shave porn!

I realized this two weeks ago and I've got some on the way now.

Razor: MoDoSo Solingen 6/8 rescaled in ebony
Strop: Ambrose Spanish Horse 25/50
Brush: Vulfix Grosvenor+Simpson superbadger
Lather: Woods of Windsord, old fórmula with tallow
AS: B.Kamins Bio Maple Balm
EdT: Fragonard Cologne Grand Luxe
.
Summary: Yesterday I touched up this edge, this is not a great razor, but it can shave with efficiency. The soap is one of my favs, and after this great lather. The balm is not a maple syrup, is a fresh balm, with extracts from the maple, it's good but nothing special....but....those canadians can make everything with maple. Fragonard is classy, perfect for daily use.

Excellent shave, simply fabulous, very close and comfortable. The lather that MdC produces is excellent under every point, as always. Fabulous glide, protection and moisturising properties. Simply perfect.

I tell my yesterdayshaving, after four days without shaving.

Brush: Semogue 2020 ...:001_wub:
Razor: Merkur Progress ...:001_wub:
Blade: Wilkinson Economie
Palmolive Classic Shaving Cream
Alum stone
Floid Lotion Special Edition ...:thumbup1:
Floid Balm

The blade continues to behave phenomenal in its fourth use, my beard and skin type I feel great.
Funny how mine with the blades, so far as I remember that they are the best: Mercadona (Spanish supermarket), the Super Max Superstainless and these .. None of them think he has a good reputation, but I was going well
Regarding the cream, if I have to take only one of my collection of "supermarket creams" probably some I would keep this.

Greetings from Spain!! :thumbup1:

A great late afternoon shave today.

Merkur 39C slanthammer
Feather blade
Rooney 1/2 Best
Provence Sante
Ogallala Bay Rum & Sandalwood

3 passes with minor cleanup = BBS

I wish I could enjoy my shaves at 6 AM as much. The sound of a slant scything through stubble is worth the price of admission. :thumbup1:
