Shaving Requisite Case - Mens or Women's? How old?

Hey fellas

Saw this the other day at an antique dealer in the country side.

It was on display in the women's section of the store.

Could it be for women or do you guys believe that it's for men?

It read on the label "Hickok, Northern Territory, Buffalo, Made in Australia"

On the top of the case it has a monogram reading "V.L."

Also, how old could this be?

Any information is most appreciated

I would think it might be for a man, given the brown color. A woman's would usually be white, red, or some other color.
