Ab-so-lutely.
Only I straight shave in the mornings. Your post reminds me that I really need to sit back, be methodical, and enjoy my shave. It's 30 minutes of pure solitude and application of practice.
Nothing feels like the nice glide of a straight razor, and nothing scratches my ATG itch like my straight.
I dabble in DE when I travel and if I'm in a hurry and must shave (otherwise I don't if I'm hurrying). DE's were never merciful to my face, though they are the first kind of ingrown/razor-burn free shave I ever had.
Keep on Zenning it up.
