Schick Injector Aggression = Letter Designation?

Speaking of Schick injector's, does the letter designation help to indicate the mildness/aggressiveness of the razor?

For example, are E series considered more aggressive than J or L series?? If so, then could we say that the lower the letter, the more aggressive the razor?

Hope this made sense. Thanks in advance folks.

Schick injectors are generally considered to increase in aggression as you move DOWN the alphabet from O to A. In other words, A is more aggressive than O. That has pretty much been my experience, but you should be aware that "aggressive" doesn't necessarily mean harsh or bad. Actually, to me aggressive means "more efficient" in removing stubble. I have used Schicks from D through N, and I have all the others--just haven't had a chance to try them all yet. The lower alphabet numbers give me a very clean, comfortable shave with fewer passes than the higher numbers. Types D, E, F, and G are my favorites, although I is also good.

The letter designation corresponds to the year (or years) they were made. Type A was made in 1926-1927. Type O was made in 1999 to ????:

I don't think there is a uniformity of aggression development (or regression?) throughout the years. But as it seems with many vintage safety razors, and as xxvaleria says above, the latter the years the less aggressive, generally speaking, it should be.
