• Prep: Brush soaked in warm water, face washed with Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Anti-Blemish Cleanser, luke warm shower
• Razor: Merkur Mergress XL
• Blade: Gillette Super Thin
• Brush: Semogue 620 Boar
• Soap: Proraso Green Tea and Oat
• AS: Canoe
• Post: Cold Water Rinse, Double Splash of Aftershave

The Mergress is a big boy at 122.1 grams loaded with a blade, I did not realize how much additional weight the XL knob added. For me, this is perfection defined in a razor, it does not get better than this. The Gillette Super Thin blades from Vietnam are surprisingly good, I had low expectations, but after a Google Plus shaving buddy said he enjoyed them, I decided to give them a spin as they where sent along with the Mergress.

The Proraso Green Tea and Oat could be my favorite Proraso. Although the menthol level is mild, it's scent is very clean and the lather is top notch.

I have not been giving my Semogue's much love lately since I have been making the badger knot brushes. The 620 will always remain a favorite, as it hold a great amount of soap and is perfect for face lathering.

The Canoe was looking at me asking "Hey Fatman why don't you use me?" So I went with it today and am glad that I did. I forgot how much I love the smell of Canoe.
