Hey Guys,

I'm looking at getting a pair of RayBan New Wayfarers. I went to the Sunglass Hut and found a pair which I liked, but I had to think twice about the price. I went on Amazon and found similar sunglasses for significantly less. I know nothing about eyeglass sizing; how do you determine what the sizing means on a pair of glasses and are the items found on Amazon genuine?

I believe Lens Crafters carries them. I have found them very knowledgeable. Perhaps you can pick their brains.

Lucky-ish for me, I've gotten my last three pairs of nicer sunglasses re-lensed for my prescription. This makes it so I can save money on the RayBans initially by buying the non-polarized versions and then I just get polarized lenses put in with my prescription.

If this is an option you might look into, I can tell you I saved almost $100 on my sweet shades.

With things like boots, shoes, and glasses I'm all about buying in stores. Sometimes the extra $50 is worth the trouble of having to return or exchange items.

After reading the recent thread on inexpensive but good quality sun glasses, I have earmarked some funds for a pair of American Optical glasses. They also have a frame sizing chart posted, where you can print out different frames in order to test fit your face.
