I voted Noodler's Black.
I don't have much in the way of black and don't use much black. What I have is Noodler's Black, Blackstone Black Cashmere and maybe a couple of cartridges of Quink Black. The only one in a pen currently? A cartridge of Quink in a Parker IM - which doesn't get much use. I just prefer two things- more interesting colors and I have other pens I like more.

I use Take Sumi. I don't like the idea of an ink permanently staining any clothes it comes in contact with forevermore, and I don't use the Noodler's brand anyway, so I stay away from Noodler's Black. Montblanc Black and Take Sumi fill the black niche for me.
Heart of Darkness here too - that is the Blackest of blacks!
I like heart of darkness and MB mystery black, and Pelikan brilliant black is my runner up.
Noodler's Heart of Darkness, but I like 5 o'clock Shadow a touch more. It's equally permanent.
