I'll soon have one in my hands and wonder how much luck I'll have getting a desk stand thingy for it. Is this a life-long quest or are they easily found?
They are pretty common on Ebay Bob. The whole sets often go for 25 bucks.
I've also seen some on eBay and with some patience, deals can be found. Another option is to purchase a regular sized blind cap and a cap so that you could also use it as a standard sized model. I did that with a Cordovan Brown Parker "51" desk pen that I found at an antique shop that was missing the stand.
Bob...don't buy a blind cap for your new Parker "51"...I mailed one with your pen, so that you can use it. Seems a shame to not be able to carry it if you wanted. So, the pen and cap are on their way ;-)
Wow, thanks! I appreciate your generosity with that one Rick and thanks to Brian too for the suggestion.
What is a decent price for a parker 51 that is in decent condition? No dings or anything.
