I'd like to make light of noctilux not knowing what he has coming but I've had the same thing happen to me.

first proper use was tonight (i shave in the evening, because i work from home and there is no one to impress during the day). wow! great brush. very similar to my simpson rover, but with better handle shape for gripping (i like a curvy bottom on brushes, as well as girls), slightly superior softness and face painting (i bowl lather). i am extremely happy. for face-lathering, one would possibly give the edge to the rover.

p.s. the other great thing about this brush is that the lather that invariably wants to slide down the handle doesn't seem to make it's way down to the grippy part or interfere in general as it does with the rover. on my simpson, i feel compelled to rinse the handle at every re-lathering.
