This made me LOL with a big cackle. I know JJ was big on lens flare with Star Trek as he talked about it on the DVD.I don't think I noticed any lens flare in that teaser.

Yeah, but watch the rest of it. Chest to chest, twirling the blades. I get it, they need to prolong the fight, give the actors some dialogue, and Ewan isn't really fighting anything anyway (some ping pong balls on sticks maybe?), but I'd rather see in and out clashes with just a few strikes (but without getting to the rubber ball level of yoda vs Count Dooku) at a time. Given how a lightsaber works you can't really have any of the cool stuff you could have in a sword fight (traps, locks, grabbing the blade, choking up on the blade, etc) but still, there has to be a happy medium
As for lens flare, there IS some in that trailer, watch the Falcon pulling around. It is blessedly minimal, though we don't see a lot of interior shots so we may still have a blindingly bright Falcon cockpit
