My Muhle Silvertip has started shedding after a month of use

Hello,

I have been using my new Muhle Silvertip for about a month and it has started to shed a hair each time I shave. This has happened twice since yesterday - meaning I have lost 2 hairs for the 2 shaves I did in the last 2 days.

I have heard its common for brushes to shed some hair in the initial few days, but how do you explain the shedding to start after a month of daily use?

I am starting to feel a bit concerned since I have paid top dollar for this brush. Can you please help. Thanks.

Welcome to B&B.

It is normal for Mühle. For that issue, I have never bought another Mühle especially in silvertip grade. I paid not much money for it. IME, after a month or two the shedding stopped but sometimes it have lost one or two. I hope yours will stop soon.
