This forum reminded me I went through a bit of a nib phase where I was collecting these. Here is my collection. I didnt get too far. The nicest one I picked up was a japanese sailor 1911. Pictures dont do it justice. I will probably be finding it a new home because its too much pen to sit in my drawer lol The VAC700 R was a neat one and I really like how it loads. I really liked the Diamond 580 as well. The rest are just cheapies I was using for EDC for a while.

Lovely collection.

The Sailor on the high end, Pilot Metro on the low and the TWSBIs in the middle would cover the waterfront re any FP “needs I would think.

I suppose you could add a Lamy Safari or Al-Star as another can’t miss or perhaps a NOS Parker 45 if you wanted to dip your toe in the vintage world. Either would be a sub 50USD foray.

Perphaps gift the other two as proof of concept to others?
