Merkur Dovo Super - is the high price justified?

Can anyone give a logical explanation why the Merkur Dovo Super blades are more expensive than the Kai and Feather?

I bought 10 units just out of curiosity, but on the first sample, I can't find anything sensational to justify the high price.
I think they are a little softer than the considered favorites in this field Kai and Feather, but the market is full of soft blades and at a price many times lower than Dovo.
The only thing that perhaps sets them apart from the rest is durability, but I can't confirm or deny that yet because I've only tried it once.

Wish I could help!

I tried the Merkur blades some time ago and found them ‘ho-hum.’ So, I cannot justify their $$. YMMV for sure!

My first DE razor was a Merkur. It came with the blades. It was my first few DE shaves with those blades and I remember they were not great. I haven't used the blades since and I am not willing to pay what they are charging for them.
