Kanayama #80000 Pickup

So after my visit to Kanoyama Strops last week (story and photos HERE), I went back to pick up my finished #80000 yesterday. Here are a few photos. The first one is my eldest son, Raiden, with the new boxed up strop standing with Naomi-san in front of his home and place of business.

It's hard to see from the photo, but in hand the #80000 feels significantly thicker, heavier, and more supple than the #2196, an excellent strop in its own right. The draw is a bit heavier and a lot more rich feeling. Additionally, stropping on the suede feels amazing!
