just got my wapi

well my wapi from fendrihan's came in today and here it is.

it seems to have a little bit of oxidation on the grind but nothing that would affect the shave.

ya she's sharp indeed.
aparently its been honed by a D. Gauthier of ontario. suposidly he's realy good. this is what they say he dose to the razors he hones.

his blade has been honed by D. Gauthier, an experienced straight razor sharpener based in Montreal. Mr. Gauthier has honed and restored hundreds of razors for clients all over the globe. Each blade sold here is sharpened to perfection on a variety of hones and finished on a japanese Nakayama Maruichi stone, giving it a very sharp, yet smooth shaving edge.
