I know it's your opinion, but that's pushing it for me. Any word that is used to express angst, surprise, or joy that is a euphemistic dysphemist sentiment is suspect? Oh, dear!!!
2. Realize that we take great pride in B&B being a work-friendly, internet oasis for gentlemanly behavior. This means that profanity, inflammatory comments regarding politics and/or religion, personal attacks, pornographic images, discussions of illegal or illicit activity, or any other ungentlemanly behavior as deemed inappropriate by the Administrators/Moderators, is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Offenders will be dealt with swiftly. More to the point, if it's likely to be offensive, or if you wouldn't say it to someone in person, it doesn't belong here.
I've always believed that common sense isn't very common.

The first two seem like totally obvious exceptions, but I have honestly seen the last word used even by mod's. I only mention this because I was reprimanded for it awhile back and was kind of scratching my head for a bit. I don't mind it being off limits, but I just didn't see any clear direction that it was, especially when those in charge were throwing it around.
Would using cursive writing make it more acceptable ?
Correct me if I am mistaken, but isn't the point of this guy there to censor you would otherwise use?

if I'm tempted to use those smilies, I should also close the window, go do something for a bit, then come back to post and see if I still think I should use them. If so, it's time to set the scotch down and go to bed.
