i've been reading more of the Tariff Hearings Before the Committee on Ways and Means...1908-09.

about the avoidance of tariffs after the 1890 regs, and some other stuff. I recently saw someone post a pic of a Korn razor in an antique shop

after talking about a american and imported sales of a dozen razors for $2 - $3, manufacturer and middleman costs, the final line of this made me smile.
