Made a Greek green-bean stew, and enjoyed it with a fresh baguette and some nice Feta.

Whipped up my famous French Onion Soup gratinee, pulled it out of the broiler, and then had to go to the ER with my son*. My wife said the soup was superlative. 
*Otherwise very smart 7 year old decided to stick something in his ear, which several doctors were unable to remove. This morning it is off to the ear specialist.

Good luck at the doctor. He's old enough to know that you should never stick anything in your ear other than your elbow. Hope it works out with no damage.
As for the onion soup, I can't think of a better restorative as the cold weather approaches.
