I think a lot of too is that the small batch releases aren’t very small anymore and they’re basically the same thing year after year. When some of them were first released there were 2-3000 tins made of very “limited” tobacco. Now it’s 16, 000 tins of tobacco that is “limited” until they find more for next year.

I'm probably in the grumpy minority. But if it's not at least several ounces for sale, I'm not buying it.

I'd lose two ounces in the chair cushions.

Was able to get some last week and enjoyed a bowl this past Saturday. My take, take it slow and you'll be rewarded. The tin note is pleasant. The smoke is nice and cool. The flakes are very thick and quite dry out the tin. They will easily rub out. The overall taste is good. Every now and then I got a nice sweet, vinegar taste. The perique is present, slightly peppery but muted and balanced with the Virginias. It's just a good blend to enjoy.
