The new Cringle Flake comes out today!
Was able to get some last week and enjoyed a bowl this past Saturday. My take, take it slow and you'll be rewarded. The tin note is pleasant. The smoke is nice and cool. The flakes are very thick and quite dry out the tin. They will easily rub out. The overall taste is good. Every now and then I got a nice sweet, vinegar taste. The perique is present, slightly peppery but muted and balanced with the Virginias. It's just a good blend to enjoy.
I ordered two tins. One for my son, just because. And one to further overload my cellar shelves.
