All clear in the SC Lowcountry. Not a major event for us, except there was a small tornado in our town Wed afternoon that flipped a car.

We got about 1.75 inches of rain. Most before 2100. We were on the west side of the storm, so we are in good shape.
All well in Gainesville, FL... a few flooded places yesterday but all is well today. We just had a few small branches blow into our yard. I got them cleaned up yesterday.
Yes, that is the one. As I thought about it and employed high school physics, I have a logical explanation.
The shape of the car resembles an airplane wing. An airplane can't help but fly due to the lift as the air beneath the wing travels faster than the air passing above the wing. With thrust, the pressure forces the airplane up.
I am not sure the car would have been flipped by the tornado if it were stationary. But since the car was moving forward (thrust), the rapid air current from the tornado gave lift to the car just like an airplane wing.
