I've only dealt with the flexible coax... that can be handled with a knife and soldering iron.

Close enough. It is a feed line for a Microwave Antenna in the 6Ghz range. I do communications work for the power company. It part of our main Comm ring.
It could be... but then you would have no way to chomp down on the jawbreaker from time to time. This would only work if you were displaying a jawbreaker in a museum.
