I hate when I fall for the hype. 4 sprays & I can't hardly smell anything. What I can smell I don't care for.
I realize I'm in the minority on Creed but from the 4 or 5 scents I've tried, I just don't get the value.
I'm sure it's just me, it has to be.

Read around, and you'll find it is not. A good part is, that DNA is probably the most copied in perfumedom, so you can get more detectable smoke-and-pineapple kicks elsewhere on Route 66.

Nope. Aventus isn’t what it used to be. Apparently the new “F code” batch is better, but it isn’t worth the $$$ and I am a Creed fan and own a few.
If you like the scent profile, try Nishane Hacivat. It is much better than Aventus IMO and very similar. Not cheap at about $150USD/100ml thru discounters, but it is fantastic.
I ended my shave with the Veg followed by some Creed Silver Mountain Water.
You win the weirdest AS and fragrance combination of the year award!
I kid, but I hate the Veg and love SMW. Maybe together they make something magical.
