Entering Fatherhood

Congratulations! We had our first child, a boy, on Dec 31, 2010 @ 9 am so we're exactly one year and 5 hours ahead of you.

A few good things about having a New Year's Eve baby:

1) The full tax deduction for 2011
2) The full tax deduction for 2011
3) You'll always have New Year's plans (at least for the next decade or two)

Enjoy the first year. It was wonderful.

After raising two of those "girl things", I can say you've got your work cut out for you. You're now outnumbered, but don't let that worry you...for the first 11 years she'll probably take your side.

Just remember, your job as a father is to make sure she doesn't end up working a job that involves a pole...everything else is a win!
