amazing, and I'm not normally a gold fan

I have heard this before, seems like many of the vintage DE fans prefer the silver models. The 1930's one-piece gold aristocrat razors are some of the nicest razors made IMO:

To be honest, I have thought about it, and even began some discussions with people, because IMO there is a need for a newer edition, ideally in color. This is more than one man's job, so there is one issue. But perhaps the main obstacle is $$$$. Just to make one limited print edition would require a nice penny. A sponsor is probably what is necessary (Gillette?)

I'm sure a project like that could be funded by B&B members... If B&B organized it.
